Description

The Math.asinh() method returns the hyperbolic arc-sine of a number.



Syntax

Math.asinh(x)

Parameters

Parameter Description
x Required.
A number.

Return Value

Type Description
NumberThe hyperbolic arc-sine of the parameter.
NaN if the parameter is not numeric.


Browser Support

Math.asinh() is an ECMAScript6 (ES6) feature.

ES6 (JavaScript 2015) is supported in all modern browsers since June 2017:
