Description

The Math.log10() method returns the base-10 logarithm of a number.




Syntax

Math.log10(x)

Parameters

Parameter Description
x Required.
A number.

Return Value

Type Description
NumberThe base-10 logarithm of the number.
NaN if the number is negative.
-Infinity if the number is 0.


Browser Support

Math.log10() is an ECMAScript6 (ES6) feature.

ES6 (JavaScript 2015) is supported in all modern browsers since June 2017:
