Description

The Mat.log2() method returns the base-2 logarithm of a number.



Syntax

Math.log2(x)

Parameters

Parameter Description
x Required.
A number.

Return Value

Type Description
NumberThe base-2 logarithm of the number.
NaN if the number is less than -1.
-Infinity if the number is -1.

Browser Support

Math.log2() is an ECMAScript6 (ES6) feature.

ES6 (JavaScript 2015) is supported in all modern browsers since June 2017:
