Description

The Math.trunc() method returns the integer part of a number.

The Math.trunc() method removes the decimals (does NOT round the number).




Syntax

Math.trunc(x)

Parameters

A number.

Return Value

Type Description
NumberThe integer part of the number.

Browser Support

Math.trunc() is an ECMAScript6 (ES6) feature.

ES6 (JavaScript 2015) is supported in all modern browsers since June 2017:
